Faculty Position in Sustainable Development in Architecture

  • This position entails leading and supervising the Shenzhen LQLab location and local staff in terms of research, coaching programs, publications, collaboration with other institutions, design projects, etc.
  • The candidate shall be experienced in the practice of built environment design (e.g. architectural design), in issues of sustainable development and the sustainability of human environments
  • The candidate shall have experience in teaching/coaching at higher education levels and research work related to architecture, built environment and/or sustainability issues. 
  • The person shall furthermore be familiar with the differences in culture of China and the West, as well as being fluent in Chinese and English.

LQLab Program Director

  • This position entails organizing content, participants and agendas for coaching programs and lqlab events, interacting with coaching, design and research collaborators, carrying out research, coaching and design projects in the realm of sustainable built environments
  • The successful candidate will also create marketing and publishing materials such web page content, newsletters, brochures, papers and books
  • In addition this person will be managing accounting and translation.
  • Familiarity with the design of built environments and the differences in culture of China and the West is an asset and this candidate must be fluent in Chinese and English.
