Prof. Peter Boelsterli
Peter Boelsterli is a visionary in global sustainability collaboration; his interdisciplinary, cross-cultural and collaborative thinking and problem-solving are combined with his dedication for social progress of humanity. Professor Boelsterli is the head of Architecture subject at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering. In addition he is the China Delegate at KFH, the Rector’s Conference of Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences, the CEO of X6.Architecture, and the founder of LQLab.
Prof. Daniel Boermann
Daniel Boermann is Professor of Construction and Architecture and administrator of sustainable development topics at the department of architecture of Bern University of Applied Sciences. Professor Boermann is proficient in Swiss and European policies, tools and standards of environmental architecture design and implementation. In addition, he is an architect with over twenty years of practice experience in Switzerland and co-founder of Di Iorio & Boermann Architekten in Zurich.
Prof. Pius Leuba
Pius Leuba is Professor of Architecture at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture and the director of the LQLab. Professor Leuba has extensively researched, designed, taught, published, lectured and built in the realm of sustainable human environment in China. In addition, Professor Leuba is an Associate Professor at Tongji University, School of Design and Innovation in the division of Environmental Design and a practicing architect.
Prof. Heinz Mutzner
Heinz Mutzner is Head of the Division of Training at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture, with over 20 years experience and expertise in urban infrastructure and water project conception, engineering, budgeting, realization, water management, wastewater treatment, conservation and ecology.
Sue Chen
Sue Chen is the Project Assistant for the LQLab managing general operations. Sue conducts research on green architecture and policy and designs sustainbility workshops with local and international partners. Having lived and worked in different cultures, she relates indicators of life quality to specific sustainability issues. Sue studied architecture at the University of Waterloo in Canada and practiced as an intern architect in Canada, United States and China.
Ni Fei Wei
Feiwei Ni is the Project Assistant of the LQLab managing general operations, coordinating collaborations and researching sustainable development topics. Feiwei has a remarkable understanding for the drivers of Chinese society and markets in terms of sustainability and green building. Before joining the team, Feiwei studied Environment Design at Tongji University College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
